...is a fleeting moment in time. We are in the midst of our two weeks of summer. Seriously, thats about all we get of really nice, hot weather. Everyone is haying like mad men, trying to get it in before the weather goes to shit and before we know it, it's winter again. I look off my deck, across town, and see the farmers feilds off in the distance with their little bales of hey in the feilds...
...and almost miss the days when my family used to be those suckers out there roasting our asses off in the hottest weather of the year haying. Then I console myself by going to the river to swim with the kids. It's a rough life sometimes.
